Writing is a subject I am able to score during high school the most as I am good at descriptive writing. However, entering university in foundation of Tesl is very different. This is because, the essays that are taught has strict format based on the academic essay format. Therefore, it was a bit of a struggle for me to get used to it but by the end of the semester, I think I am able to create an academic essay well. This subject teaches you how to synthesis, citation, write an academic essay and so on. Other than that, Madam Natasha has been the most motherly lecturer as she is the best at guiding us in writing. She teaches with sincerity as her never-ending efforts in checking our work and replying to our questions has been done well. All in all, I feel like academic writing is very important as I will have to use this knowledge when I pursue my studies in degree level soon.
