PUNCak alam ptar day

On Tuesday after Listening and Speaking class, me and a few members from class T10 decided to pay our first visit to Puncak Alam’s Library. It was a walking distance from the building that we had our class to the library. The UiTM library has its own unique name which is ‘PTAR’ that stands for ‘Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak’. When I got there, I was shocked to see how spectacular it is from the outside. My first impression was just ‘wow’. Puncak Alam’s PTAR is nicely built with a round unique building structure that looks as if you are in a colosseum. The design inside and out was modern, but I can feel that it had taken some inspiration from the colosseum monument. Every corner of the library is Instagram-able as it is aesthetically pleasing. Therefore, class T10 and even I always had a photoshoot session every time we are in PTAR
.
However, compared to UiTM Dengkil’s library, I would totally pick Puncak Alam’s. This is because Puncak Alam’s library is bigger in size, the diverse amount of physical books ranging from A – Z for all courses are there to find stacked on multiple shelves from ground floor to the highest floor, the tables and chairs are unique in design and various e-books are there too. Dengkil library is the opposite as it smaller in size and do not have physical books but they do provide various e-books though. Other than that, the similarities between these two libraries are that they are both fully air-conditioned, have enough comfortable tables and chairs, both have a computer lab and discussion rooms. Hence, those play a big role in a library and UiTM did a great job in providing basic necessities in the library so that students have a conducive environment to study.
All in all, I enjoy studying, having discussions and online classes with my friends at PTAR. For me, UiTM’s library completes everything that I need in terms of cleanliness, comfortability and resources so it plays a huge role in my opportunity as a student and encouragement to succeed academically.
